Bamboo plant

The bamboo plant is known for its rapid growth, about a third faster than any other plant. Bamboo absorbs five times more CO2 than most trees, needs little water and no chemical pesticides are needed for its growth. This is good for the environment and has the added advantage that your skin does not come into contact with these chemical pesticides either. Bamboo used in textiles is seen as a very sustainable material.

Bamboo clothing

Bamboo clothing has a beautiful, silky look, absorbs well and is hypoallergenic. When bamboo is used as a raw material for clothing, people often mix it with cotton and possibly lycra. Cotton makes the garment stronger (and therefore more durable because it lasts longer) and lycra provides elasticity.
