Description

We have the well-known V-90 sneaker from French shoe brand VEJA this spring with a fun green V. The shoe is made of soft, chrome-free (organic traced) leather making them very supple. The panels and logo are made of suede (reverse leather) and the soles of recycled rubber. The sneakers are also impregnated with a water-repellent repellant to protect them from light rain. 

The 'Organic Traced' leather comes from a 100% certified organic farm in Uruguay. This country is known for its good animal husbandry and good quality leather.

  • Material: upper: organic traced & chrome-free leather. Panels: suede. Logo V: suede. Insole: amazon rubber (12%), sugar cane (42%), recycled E.V.A.* (23%) and other materials (12%). Outsole: amazon rubber (40%), silica (23%), recycled rubber (10%), synthetic rubber (11%), and other materials (16%). Lining: Tech (100% recycled polyester). Laces: organic cotton (100%).

Manufacturing & labels
  • Production: sustainably and fairly produced in Brazil. Since all the necessary materials for the Veja sneakers can be found in Brazil, the owners chose to carry out their production here. In addition, there are enough factories in Brazil that protect their workers, something very important for the sustainable sneaker brand.
