How did Embassy come about
Embassy was founded in 2015 by Niko Vatheuer. It is a German vegan outdoor brand focused on making warm, durable winter coats. Niko forms a small team together with his wife Anna and Eric Mirbach.
What does Embassy do
Embassy's goal is to create a contemporary fashion brand with high aesthetic and ethical standards. The designs focus on contemporary fashion combined with functionality. Embassy's main goal is to create a great product. The brand's second step is to then make the product as sustainable as possible. They follow the credo: design first.
How does Embassy produce
For Embassy, it is important that their items are produced in a good way. Fair working conditions and a safe environment is a must. Embassy's jackets are designed in Germany and produced in China. The brand likes to work with somewhat smaller production partners. This way they can guarantee that the conditions are good.
What materials does Embassy use
At Embassy of brick and logs, they use hand-selected premium materials. Embassy's winter coats are made from recycled and PETA-approved vegan materials. The padding in the jackets is made with recycled PET bottles from the ocean. In addition, the brand has developed an innovative faux fur, also made from recycled PET bottles, that is as soft as animal material.
