The Production Process: from ocean to backpack
Step 1: Collection
Local fishermen collect Ocean Impact Plastic from oceans, mangrove forests, rivers and areas where plastic ends up immediately after use.
Step 2: Processing
The PET portion is sorted and processed into pellets, while other recyclable plastic types are sent to suitable recycling solutions.
Step 3: Production
The pellets are processed into high-quality yarn and eventually into polyester fabric with waterproof coating.
Step 4: Transportation
The finished products are shipped to Europe and the U.S. and then delivered to customers in a carbon-neutral manner.
