People Tree is the pioneer in the field of sustainable, environmentally friendly and fair fashion. In 2015 People Tree celebrated its 25th anniversary. People Tree works together with craftsmen in developing countries (India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Kenya) and has special attention for craftsmanship and maintaining traditional techniques. Besides that People Tree finances as one of the few clothing brands the collection in advance (instead of payment afterwards) to offer financial security to the producers and helps villages with the creation of schools and waterfacilities. The brand strives to operate for 100% Fair Trade in the entire production chain.

The People Tree collection consists of strong basics complemented by stylish dresses. People Tree uses different production techniques, with a focus on handiwork, and produces original designs with beautiful visual prints every year. Most items are made of organic Fair Trade cotton and everything is coloured with safe, natural dyes. The People Tree collection is OC (organic) and Fair Trade certified. The brand has not won 21 awards for nothing!
