Description

Brand-new to our collection are the jackets from the Scandinavian brand DIDRIKSONS. 

This burgundy-red waterproof raincoat has a water column rating of 8,000 mm (the fabric can withstand 8 meters of rain) and is therefore suitable for everyday use and heavy downpours. It has no padding but is fully lined. The coat falls below the knee, has pockets, and features convenient Velcro closures at the cuffs so you can securely fasten them.

The brand has developed its own material in which the plastic is fused with the coating, eliminating the need for waterproofing and making the jacket PVC-free. They call thisGalon®. Thanks to this innovation, the jacket is completely waterproof because there are no seams or openings for water to seep through.

  • Material: 100% polyester lining, solution-dyed (the color is already in the fiber, not ON the fiber. This process saves water and chemicals) - coating: 100% polyurethane - outer shell: 100% polyester with PVC-free Galon®
  • Washing instructions: gentle machine wash, max 30 degrees. Do not tumble dry

Didriksons has been manufacturing rainwear on the Swedish west coast since 1913. The brand phased out PFAS as early as 2015 and works with a small, fixed supplier base of twenty manufacturers, monitored through Amfori BSCI audits and its own offices in China and Bangladesh. Currently, 42% of the textiles are solution-dyed, which saves water, energy, and chemicals.
