How do you care for your wool items? Wool has many good properties. In fact, every sheepskin contains lanolin. This is natural wool grease that makes the wool self-cleaning, bacteria repellent and dirt repellent. Because of this, you do not need to wash your woolen clothing often and it is enough to air your woolen items outside. If you still want to wash your wool items, always choose a wool wash cycle. We recommend washing clothes made of wool at 30 or 40 degrees maximum. Always consult the washing label inside the garment. It is wise to choose a wash program that best matches the "weakest fiber", so even if a sweater is only 10% wool.
Drying and storing knitwear
After washing woolen and/or other knitwear, make sure you don't hang them to dry. Instead, you can lay the clothes down on a laundry rack, for example. In fact, because the knit is wet, the heavy weight can cause it to droop and get out of shape quickly. This also applies to storage, by the way. Knitwear is best folded and stored lying down in your closet.
